The assignment
On-time material delivery for the construction of the T-REX Tower in Frankfurt
The solution
Close cooperation between the Wego/Vti locations in Frankfurt and Dortmund
The result
Reliable deliveries – even under the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic
Reliably to the point – even under COVID conditions
Future projects such as the hybrid high-rise are complex and time-critical. This requires not only quality, but also trust among all parties involved—especially when large quantities of material have to be delivered to the construction site just in time.
This is precisely where the biggest challenge lies, as Mesut Yildiz, site manager at Rico, emphasizes: “The T-Rex Tower in Frankfurt is of utmost importance to our company. The schedule is tight, and the COVID-19 pandemic adds a logistical challenge for all of us. That makes it all the more important that Wego delivers on time and reliably. I need to be able to rely fully on my partners. With Wego/Vti, I have been in good hands from day one.”
Among other things, Yildiz refers to the fast and precise handling of construction sites, pricing with industry partners, and delivery times: with a maximum lead time of two days—and in some cases even within a day—Wego/Vti’s trucks reach their destination. “That is reliability to the point.”

Key facts about the project
The 140-metre-tall T-REX Tower in Frankfurt’s Senckenberg-Anlage will be a hybrid of hotel and apartments. While hotel guests are to stay in the lower half of the tower on the ground floor through the 15th floor, the upper half on the 17th through the 40th floor is planned for apartments. The two areas are to be separated by a technical services floor on the 16th floor. The basement levels include parking spaces. The tower is being built as part of a two-high-rise building ensemble with a podium base.
