Lightweight leveling
made easy.
How it works
The wego Thermoblower is used for the production of bound leveling fills according to DIN 18560-2 and enables full-surface leveling of installation layers and unevenness. In our mixmobiles, we use recycled EPS granulate and offer a particularly sustainable form of lightweight leveling through CO₂ binding. At the same time, the disposal of cement and EPS bags on the construction site is eliminated – bag waste does not even arise.
Your advantages with our Thermoblower
Meets the requirements of DIN 18560-2 and evenly and thermally insulates pipes and installations
No “carving” of insulation necessary – no offcuts or thermal bridges created
Binding and saving of CO₂ through recycled EPS granulate
Flexible application even under difficult construction site conditions
No storage of EPS granulate and cement bags necessary – and thus no waste generation
Fast and effective installation due to consistent quality
Adjustment of various strengths possible
Fast readiness for covering
What does DIN 18560-2 say about this?
DIN 18560-2:2022-08 deals with screeds and heated screeds on insulation layers (floating screeds) and was revised at the end of 2022.
One of the most important changes, among others, is that the leveling layer for installation levels must now have a minimum compressive stress of 100 kPa at 10% compression.
The “carving” of insulation between pipes and installations is restricted by the standard and limited to a minimum, as the use of EPS DEO insulation material as a leveling layer is tied to very specific requirements.
With the wego Thermoblower, you meet the minimum requirements of DIN 18560-2 for your project and are thus on the safe side.
Areas of application for the wego Thermoblower
Due to the possible adjustment of different strengths depending on the manufacturer’s recipe, the lightweight leveling is suitable for use under:
- classic wet screeds
- dry screeds
- thin-layer systems
- pool backfills
- leveling on attics and vaulted ceilings
The clean solution for your construction site
With a capacity of up to 30 m³ per vehicle and a pumping capacity of up to 100 meters in length and 90 meters in height, the certified material from leading
manufacturers is directly introduced into the structure – in consistently tested quality and a closed loop. This ensures comfort and efficiency: Every mixing process is monitored online by a computer-controlled fully automatic system. This ensures reliable quality at all times – an added safety for processors and builders.
We provide water and mortar hoses as well as an outlet stand on the construction site. Only a suitable water connection is required on site.
Thanks to the high performance of the Thermoblower (pumping capacity/hour approx. 4–6 m³, depending on the product), productivity on the construction site increases noticeably. The fast early strength enables quicker readiness for covering.
Additional advantages: less storage required, lower cleaning effort, and reduced disposal costs.
