Sponsorship of the German Junior Drywall Installer Championship
We are the main sponsor of the “AUSBAU HELD” – the German Junior Drywall Installer Champion. Every year, graduates of the final year at ABZ Hamm compete against each other in an exciting competition. Any company can register its apprentices. The winner receives a master craftsman scholarship worth €11,000. For second place, there is a 50% subsidy, and for third place, 25%.

At the EPF trade fair in Feuchtwangen, the international trade fair for floor construction, the German Screed Award is presented at the gala evening. The award, endowed by wego with €1,500, honors true excellence in screed craftsmanship – a strong sign of appreciation for our industry.
Apprenticeship is a top priority at wego vti
Our apprentices are the future of our company. Every year, we have around 50 apprentices spread across three training years, learning various professions – from wholesale and foreign trade to warehouse logistics and office management, as well as IT system management or industrial management. Internships and dual study programs are also possible.
During the apprentice kickoff, our young talents get to know the company, make contacts, and gain exciting insights into all departments. “Trade meets Industry” takes them directly to our partners like Rockwool or Rigips, while “Trade meets Craftsmanship” involves an internship on the customer side – to experience the craft firsthand and see how our products are used on the construction site.
Our certified trainers accompany the apprentices on their journey – supported by strong training management. In this way, we jointly lay the foundation for a successful future in the construction and specialist trade.

Whether with digital learning platforms like Mobitrain or further training in health management – we support our employees in advancing professionally and personally. Our managers are also specifically qualified: with a ten-month training program, potential analyses, and individual succession planning. For us, not only performance but also cohesion counts: because we stand by our employees in every life situation.

Occupational safety is a top priority at wego vti. Our occupational safety manager ensures that everyone at wego vti returns home healthy every day. In monthly occupational safety committees, all incidents are thoroughly evaluated – with a clear goal: preventive accident prevention for a Zero Accident Policy. Regular health checks, annual employee dialogues, and company pension schemes show: The well-being of our employees is our focus – whether in the office, in branches, in the warehouse, or on the road.

RAL Quality Association for Drywall Construction e.V.
The “RAL Quality Association for Drywall Construction e. V.” is an association of excellent specialist companies in drywall construction and defines the quality standards in this area.
Through regular external monitoring of companies awarded a quality mark, high quality in execution and design is ensured.
This task has been taken over by the building authority-recognized and certified monitoring institute of the Testing Institute for Wood and Drywall Construction (VHT) Darmstadt.
Federal Association for Screed and Flooring e.V.
The “Bundesverband Estrich und Belag e. V.” (BEB) is a modern service provider for companies in the flooring industry. The association advises and strengthens its members primarily on technical issues. Due to their extensive knowledge and high competence, BEB specialist companies can provide high-quality construction work and optimally advise builders and architects.
The association of companies in the BEB ensures the quality work of its members and is the basis for their entrepreneurial success. The technical competence and informational advantage strengthen each individual BEB member company.
Federal Association in the Drywall and Interior Finishing Trades e.V.
The “Bundesverband in den Gewerken Trockenbau und Ausbau e. V.” was founded in 1998 under the name BIG (Bundesweite Interessengemeinschaft Trockenbau e. V.) by leading companies in the drywall industry. Since then, the association has pursued the idea of creating the conditions for successful lobbying in the service of drywall construction by networking as many companies as possible.
The umbrella term “drywall construction” encompasses a variety of building systems for diverse applications. Members of BIG include qualified drywall companies as well as partners of architects and investors. They advise, plan, and implement interior finishing, sound insulation, and fire protection concepts with modern systems.
Innovation in Interior Finishing
The “Innovation Bau” association brings together forward-thinkers and co-creators across traditional boundaries. They all pursue a common goal: to innovatively develop construction methods in interior finishing.
There are many ways to get involved: with ideas and initiative, through the general promotion of “crowdsourcing” good ideas, or as a supporting member, as wego Systembaustoffe is. If a sufficient market with good framework conditions can be served by innovative construction methods, everyone benefits.
